No Longer Scared, I’m Red Cross Prepared!

Come join the American Red Cross at the 2nd annual Safe Kids Day!  We are looking for Volunteers to help with posters, outreach, presentations, group leaders, check in and so much more!

When: Saturday May 22, 2010

Where: Headquarters (2707 State Street)

What: Become a Master of Disaster with the American Red Cross,  Santa Barbara County Chapter.  Disaster Education is important no  matter what grade level.  Children (1st-6th grade) will have the  opportunity to learn the science and safety behind natural disasters  such as floods, fires, earthquakes and lightning.  They will learn how  to prepare for and respond to disasters by building a disaster supply  kit and calling 9-1-1.  Want to learn about water safety, operating an  AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and safe hand washing?  Come join us at the American Red Cross.
